Cramer — McCarley

SALEM – Rachel Kate Cramer and Rexall Gehrome McCarley were united in marriage on June 18, 2014 on the northwestern shore of Lake Tahoe, California.

The bride is the daughter of the Revs. Stephen and Meta Cramer of Salem.

The groom is the son of Johnny McCarley of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and the late Rexaline McCarley.

The bride’s parents officiated at the sunset ceremony.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a sleeveless BCBG gown of gardenia lace with a v-shaped neckline and back, a tiered chiffon skirt and a silk sash. She carried a hand tied bouquet of blue and purple hydrangea, purple roses, calla lilies, dyed blue orchids, lavender, white lysmachia, and white anemones. As “something borrowed,” she wore a dinner ring containing the stone from her maternal grandmother’s engagement ring.

The bride’s brother, David Cramer of Hoboken, New Jersey, was her attendant. The groom was attended by his sister, Carrie McCarley Bell of Fairbanks, Alaska.

A dinner reception followed at the North Tahoe Event Center, King’s Beach, California. The wine served had its origins in a vineyard located on property formerly owned by the bride’s great-grandfather in Clarksburg, California.

The bride is a graduate of Columbiana High School, Ohio Wesleyan University, The Ohio State University, and Bradford College. She is employed as a social worker and a physical therapy assistant.

The groom is a graduate of Tecumseh High School and The Ohio State University and is employed as a physical therapist.

The couple resides in Groveport.
