Bender — Smith
SALEM – Sarah Jane Bender became the bride of Townsend Emerson Smith on Oct. 4 at Julia’s Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard.
The bride is the daughter of Lee and Judith Bender, Salem.
The groom is the son of Linda Smith, Salem.
Pastor James Mohr officiated the 4:30 ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory taffeta A-line gown featuring a lace illusion neckline and pearl embroidery. Her waist-length veil was accented by pearls as well as her jewelry. She carried a hand tied bouquet of green hydrangeas, picasso calla lilies and white roses accented by ivory peacock feathers.
Brittany Kuttesch, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, served as maid of honor in a regency purple gown. In matching gowns were bridesmaids Rachael Neal, Chippewa, Pennsylvania; and Hannah Bennett, Rocky Ridge.
Performing the duties of best man was Ryan Parke, Columbiana. Groomsmen were Josh Corvino, Columbiana; and Joey Rovinsky, Columbus.
A reception for approximately 100 guests immediately followed at the bed and breakfast.
Following a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple reside in Boardman.
