Mallorie Estell weds Jeremy Plotner

SALEM – Mallorie Lynne Estell and Jeremy Ryan Plotner were united in marriage on May 17 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Salem.

The bride is the daughter of Craig and Deborah Estell, East Rochester.

The groom is the son of Greg and Julie Plotner, Dalton.

The Reverend Father Robert Edwards officiated at the nuptial Mass with music provided by organist Joe McKim and soloist Morgan Zamarelli. Scriptures were read by Rebecca Guappone, aunt of the bride, and Ryan Petruska.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white lace and tulle A-line gown with a scalloped V-neckline, dropped waist, pleated wrap bodice and high sheer lace back with covered buttons. The tulle skirt was embellished with beaded lace appliques and featured a chapel length train. Her tulle finger-tip veil was trimmed with beaded lace and accented with a Swarovski crystal headpiece. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia and pink roses and peonies.

Abigail Steves, sister of the bride, Salem, served as matron of honor in a pewter gray chiffon dress with gray lace bodice. In matching dresses were bridesmaids Dr. Alisha Plotner, sister of the groom, Columbus; Ashley Kennedy, Salem; Michelle Petruska, Boardman; Valerie Rhodes, Cleveland; and Angela Wamsley, Cincinnati.

Performing the duties of best man was Nick Plotner, brother of the groom, Dalton. Groomsmen were Treg Steves, brother-in-law of the bride, Salem; Dr. Mark Tornero, brother-in-law of the groom, Columbus; Kevin McCullough, Canton; Justin Woodruff, Cuyahoga Falls; and Eric King, Dalton.

A reception for approximately 180 guests followed at La Pizzeria Crystal Ballroom in North Canton.

They are both graduates of Kent State University and are employed in retail management.

Following a honeymoon in Isla Mujares, Mexico, the couple resides in Columbus.
