EAST PALESTINE -- Mr. Garry Allison, East Palestine, announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of his daughter, Melody Allison, to Jason Shilot, son of Ronald and Pam Shilot of Culloden, W.Va.
The bride-elect earned a bachelor's in communications from Kent State University and a master's in school counseling from Wright State University. She most recently served as the School Counselor at Wellsville Local Schools for the past five years.
Her fiance earned a bachelor's in education from Marshall University. He is currently a Medical Device Sales Representative at Cardinal Health.
The couple is planning an August 8 wedding in Nashville, Tenn.
