LISBON – Kurt and Darlene Vancura, Lisbon, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Dr. Amanda Vancura-Collins, to Christopher Staley, son of Frank and Madeline Staley, Hubbard.
The bride-elect is a graduate of David Anderson High School and attended medical school at the University of New England. She completed an emergency medicine residency at UMass Medical & Trauma Center in Boston. She is currently employed as an emergency room attending physician at St. Elizabeth’s in Youngstown and Boardman, and East Liverpool City Hospital.
Her fiance attended Hubbard High School and graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is also a graduate of the YSU Police Academy and is currently employed as a patrolman for the Youngstown Police Department.
Invitations will be issued for the Aug. 13, 2016 ceremony and reception.
