Nicholas Bogdan Sr. of Columbiana will celebrate his 90th birthday today with his family. He was born Nov. 2, 1926 in Leetonia to Dan and Versavia Bogdan and was the youngest of eight children. After graduating from Fairfield High School and returning from serving with the Army in World War II, he started and ran Nick’s Tin Shop until his retirement in 1990. He has two sons, Nick Jr. (Diana) of Columbiana, and Mike (Karen) of Maumee, along with three grandchildren.
