Amelia R. Falk celebrated her 102nd birthday with her family Nov. 13 at Ezio’s Restaurant in Salem. Amelia, known by Millie to family and friends, was born Nov. 9, 1920 in Flushing, Ohio. She came to Salem in the early 1940s. She married Gustave Falk on April 24, 1948. They raised five children. Over the years her family has grown to 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, with another one on the way, and one great-great-grandchild. To this day she continues to maintain her independence in the home in which she raised her family. Submitted photo
