William (Bill) and Lois Robb celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary at home with family on Dec. 15. They were married on Dec. 23, 1954, by the Rev. Alan Fields at the New Cumberland Christian Church Parsonage. An honorary dinner and cake were given to celebrate their milestone event. An evening of reflection, love, and laughter were shared with family.

Bill and Lois raised four daughters: Robin Goots and husband Paul from Beckley, W.Va., Betsy Kuzio from Cincinnati, Ohio, Cathy Markowicz and husband Don from New Manchester, W.Va., and Susie Myers and husband Rick from New Cumberland, W.Va.; and six granddaughters: Miranda Sitchanoff and husband Teddy, Amanda Daniels and husband Erik, Aimee Nelson and husband Ashton, Haylianne Murray and husband Matt, Mallory Markowicz, and Leah Estell and husband Brock. They have 11 great-grandchildren: Dean and Elle Sitchanoff, Kelty and Kaiya Daniels, Lucca, Elias, and Nicco Nelson, Madison, Maximus, and Macie Murray, and Wyatt Markowicz.

Bill is a retired foreman from Weirton Steel Corp. and Lois is a retired administrative secretary from Hancock County Schools. They enjoy spending time with their family, attending their great-grandchildren’s sporting events, dining out, traveling, and babysitting their granddog “Lucy.”
