Bob and Kathy Glonek-Johnson

Bob and Kathy Glonek-Johnson will celebrate 50 years of marriage Sept. 8. The couple was joined in marriage by the late Harold B. Winn of Salem First Friends Church Sept. 8, 1973. Bob and Kathy met at the former KayBee Roller Arena in East Liverpool, where Bob spun the records and Kathy stole his heart. The couple has two children, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Sadie Tice. Their son Rob lives in Jackson, Missouri with his wife Carrie. They have two children, Makenzie and Jacob. Marcy lives in Charlotte, N.C., with her son Kobe, and her daughter Marissa Cook resides in Salineville with her daughter, Sadie Tice. The couple will celebrate the occasion with a trip to the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
