Bruce and Teresa (Courtney) Cooper recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married at Beloit Friends Church June 29, 1973, officiated by the Rev. Gilbert Thomas.

The Coopers recently returned from a two-week celebratory trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. Their son, Benjamin Cooper and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Cooper of Brighton, Colorado; and their daughter, Dr. Brooke Lasics and her husband, Adam Lasics of Houston, Texas, along with four of the Coopers’ five grandchildren joined them.

After living in Houston for 38 years, the Coopers now reside near Salem.
