Norman and Rosetta Kimble of East Palestine recently celebrated 77 years of marriage with family at Lance’s Restaurant in Darlington, Pa.

The luncheon was hosted by their two daughters and their husbands, Cindy and Gary Clark, and Juley and Bob Lewis, all of East Palestine.

The Kimbles were married Feb. 18, 1946 in New Waterford while Norman was furloughed from the Army Air Force. After the wedding, he returned to duty and served in the Philippines.

Mrs. Kimble was employed by Herriott Trucking Company and Mr. Kimble retired from Cummins Diesel in Hubbard, Ohio.

The couple has four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.

They are members of St. John Lutheran Church in Petersburg, where they attend regularly.
