60th Wedding Anniversary
The former Natalie Marie Gryvnak married Nicholas Hromiko on Saturday, June 3, 1961 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Akron, Ohio. They received their 60th Anniversary blessings on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the Nativity of Christ Orthodox Church, Youngstown, Ohio where they are members. The ceremony honoring the couple was conducted by Rev. Michael Lillie.
Mr. Hromiko served in the United States Army Corporal Missile Battalion for two years and was employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Mrs. Hromiko retired after 21 years as the librarian of the Joshua Dixon Elementary School in 2004. They have resided in Columbiana for the last 57 years.
Nicholas and Natalie have two children, Gregory (Laura) Hromiko of Columbiana, Ohio and Gretchen (Don) Emch of New Waterford, Ohio. They have five grandchildren, Hannah Hromiko, Emily, Molly, Ryan and Abbey Emch.
They enjoyed raising their family and traveling 46 states of the USA by car and bus trips during their 60 years of marriage.
