Kellys celebrating 60th year
SALEM– Jim and Nancy (Weingart) Kelly of Salem will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family today at the Homestead Kitchen in Columbiana. The couple was married on Sunday, Aug. 21, 1960, at the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church in Beloit.
They have been loving, wonderful parents to their five children, Debbie (Randy) McClurg, Diana (Rick) Stapleton, Dawn (Mark) Griffith, Deri (Rob) Hutton and Rod (Beth) Kelly. They have also been blessed with 12 grandchildren, Kristen (Shawn), Ricky (Sarah), Jorden (Katie), Kevin (Marissa), Hannah (Nate), Jake (Lauren), Emma, Katie, Kelly, Julia, Rylee and Rachael; along with step-grandchildren, Dan (Mel) and Bryan. Additional blessings have come being great-grandparents to Kenneth, Russell, Isla and Oliver; along with step-great-grandchildren Shawn, Talan, Chase and Zach.
The Kellys are members of the First Friends Church of Salem. Their greatest passion is knowing and sharing the love of Jesus, as well as the love of family.
