50 years for Lisbon couple
LISBON — Grace and Tony Krukowski celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 11 with a special mass led by Bishop George V. Murry, S.J., at St. Columbo Cathedral in Youngstown.
The former Grace Toth married Tony Krukowski July 15, 1967 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ambridge, Pa.
Mrs. Krukowski retired as a teacher assistant at Robert Bycroft School. She also worked as a registered x-ray technologist at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Krukowski retired after 35 years in education. He was superintendent at Lisbon Exempted Village Schools, superintendent and principal at Southern Local Schools as well as being a teacher and coach in Lisbon.
The couple have two sons, Casey Krukowski, Madison Heights, Mich.; and Kipp (Lluvia) Krukowski, North Lima; and four grandchildren.
The couple plan to celebrate their anniversary with family aboard the Gateway Clipper in September.
