LEETONIA – Galen and Marie Walker, Leetonia, will celebrate 60 years of marriage May 12.
The former Marie Therese Beluscsak married Galen Edward Walker on May 12, 1956 in Mantua. They have seven children, 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with two more on the way.
They settled down on a small farm in Shalersville and Mr. Walker devoted his life to farming and Mrs. Walker, received a degree as a registered nurse from St. Thomas School of Nursing.
After selling the family farm, they purchased a dairy farm in Leetonia.
