DAMASCUS – The family of Paul “Skip” and Elise Steer Buttermore is requesting a card shower in honor of their 70th wedding anniversary on Dec. 23.
Cards of congratulations will reach them at PO Box 46 Damascus, OH 44619.
Mr. Buttermore retired from Transue-Williams after a long career in the tool and die department. You can still find him doing some machine work in his garage.
Mrs. Buttermore worked many years for her great uncle at the Haldi Shoe store in Salem and later at the Friends Book Store in Damascus.
They are the parents of two children, Paula (Kevin) Wartluft of Damascus and Jim (Linda) Buttermore of Columbiana, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
