Penn-Ohio tickets on sale

EAST LIVERPOOL — The 42nd Penn-Ohio Stateline Classic all-star football game will be held Thursday, June 24, at Patterson Field.

Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and introduction of players will be at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the gate. Advance tickets are available at East Liverpool High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Radio Shack in Columbiana, Sitler the Printer in Columbiana and from any player or at practice.

State finals to Canton

CANTON — The Ohio high school football championship games are expected to return to Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium this fall.

The Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Pro Football Hall of Fame are holding a joint news conference at 1 p.m. today at the James Allen Gold Jacket Lounge.

The football championship games were held in Canton from 2017-19, but moved to Massillon’s Paul Brown Tiger Stadium last season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The state finals are scheduled for Dec. 2-5.
