MENTOR — Columbiana County will see five girls wrestlers at the state tournament after competition on Sunday at the district tournament at Mentor High School.

United junior Auston Brown (41-6) was the only weight-class winner as she took the 125-pound class.

East Liverpool sophomore Paige Cowan (46-8) took third at 125, while United senior Dakota McCracken (16-3) was third at 235.

Placing fourth was Southern senior Katie Harshbarger (35-9) at 155 as did East Liverpool sophomore Alannah Mcgonigal (34-14) at 170.

The top four finishers in each weight class earn a spot at the state girls wrestling tournament set for March 7-9 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.
