West Branch slams Salem
SALEM — Jeremiah Thomas had 15 points and seven assists to lead West Branch to a 51-35 win over rival Salem on Friday night.
West Branch moved to 9-11 overall and 3-6 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference. Salem fell to 6-14 and 1-8 in the EBC.
Warrior forward Gavin Gregory added 11 points and eight rebounds. Camden Lane chipped in 10 points and three rebounds. Joey Jackson had seven points, four rebounds and three steals.
Salem’s Deontay Steele scored 11 of his team-high 18 points in the first quarter to spark Salem.
The Warriors will host Dalton on Tuesday.
Salem hosts South Range on Friday.
West Branch won the jayvee game, 46-30. Joey Troyer had 12 points for West Branch.
