CALCUTTA — Owen Hill had 24 points and Matt Anderson added 18 more as Beaver Local marched past Hubbard 73- 49 on Tuesday.
Beaver Local is 14-5 and is at Union Local on Friday.
Hubbard is 5-14.
Hubbard won the jayvee game, 48-39. Luke Warrick had 15 points for Beaver.

GARRETTSVILLE — Crestview boys basketball team dropped a 50-43 decision to Garfield on Tuesday.
The Rebels fell to 6-13 and 4-7 in the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference Gray Division. Garfield is 12-5 and 7-3.
The Rebels will host Brookfield on Friday.
West Branch 54, Youngstown East 46
BELOIT– Jeremiah Thomas had 18 points and seven assists as West Branch raced past Youngstown East 54-46 on Tuesday.
Camden Lane added 12 points and four rebounds. Cooper Anderson had eight points and nine rebounds.
West Branch is 8-11

STEUBENVILLE — The Catholic Central boys’ basketball team turned up the heat on Oak Glen.
Leading by two in the second quarter, Catholic Central amped up the pressure against Oak Glen, and the Golden Bears struggled to handle it enabling the Crusaders to get out and run en route to building an 11-point advantage at halftime on their way to a 43-32 victory Tuesday night at Mickey Barber Gymnasium.
Central improves to 15-3, while Oak Glen falls to 5-12.
Benji Rook scored a game-high 13 points to lead the Crusaders. Camden Bradley added 11 points and Tommy Pergi 10.
Mason Kell had a team-high seven points for the Golden Bears, while Noah Willey added six.
Catholic Central will play at Bellaire Friday, while Oak Glen travels to Wheeling Central.
Oak Glen won the junior varsity game, 35-32. Jaxon Deremer had eight points for the Bears.
