Rick Link Invitational

BELMONT — East Liverpool took third on Saturday at Union Local’s Rick Link Invitational.

Kyle Ingram (113) and Tristan Eckles (120) captured first for the Potters, while Jayden Shaw (157) was second. Wyatt McCune was fourth at 126.

Parkersburg won the event with Steubenville taking third.

Cambridge Invitational

CAMBRIDGE — Beaver Local’s wrestling team finished third on Saturday at the Cambridge Invitational.

Louisville won the event with West Holmes taking second.

For Beaver Local, Kane Curran won at 215, while Jake Hughes was second at 157. Finishing third for the Beavers was Jeryck Boyd (106) and Robert Buchheit (144). Justuce Fisher was fourth at 113.

Malvern Holiday Tournament

MALVERN — Southern Local’s Austin Harshbarger (126 pounds), Rowan Wiley (165) and Jonathan Bailey (190) took first in their respective classes on Saturday at the Malvern Hornet Holiday Tournament.

Gage Smith (150) was second for the Indians who won the tournament with 172.5 points.

Wellsville’s Leland Monte won at 215. For United, Colin Liput won at 138 and Chance Cope was third at 175.

Beachwood Invite

BEACHWOOD — West Branch’s wrestling team placed fourth out of 23 teams on Saturday at the Beachwood Invitational.

Finishing second for the Warriors was J.J. Matta, Kamron Bradt and Gavin Hang. Jackson Benner was third.

Women of Ironman

CUYAHOGA FALLS — United’s Austen Brown took fifth at 125 pounds to lead area wrestlers on Sunday at the Women of Ironman at Walsh Jesuit High School.

East Liverpool’s Paige Cowan took eighth at 125 pounds.

Ashtyn Hynd Battle at the Lake

MADISON — Salem produced four champions and took first place on Saturday at the Ashtyn Hynd Battle at the Lake wrestling tournament at Madison High School.

Caleb Burt (138), Joey Kana (144), Shawn German (150) and Ayden Patchin (190) all won their respective weight classes.

Salem scored 283 points.
