Rhodes, Rebels master Boardman
BOARDMAN — Crestview’s girls basketball team gained a 60-43 win over Boardman on Saturday to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Addison Rhodes led the Rebel charge with 26 points, eight rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks, while Luvrain Gaskins added 15 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Myer Miller had 10 points and Ava Bucey chipped in six points. Brianna DiCross had five assists and four steals.
Sarah Bero had 12 points for Boardman.
Crestview is at Southeast on Wednesday.
Boardman won the jayvee game, 26-19. Lainey Milhoan had seven points for the Rebels.

Oak Glen won the jayvee game, 49-20. Mya Stacey had five points for the Beavers.

BELOIT — Audrey Eaton had 16 points as West Branch had a 42-28 win over Carrollton on Saturday.

Reese Davidson-Chuck fired in 17 points for the Quakers, 2-2, 1-2 in the EBC.

Salem won the jayvee game 26-12 behind Ava Lee’s seven points.

WELLSVILLE — Wellsville’s girls basketball team won its second straight with a 33-25 victory over East Palestine on Saturday.
Bella Poppelriter fired in 14 points for the Tigers, while Kenzie Bosco had nine points.
Alivia Magness had 10 points for the Bulldogs, while Jacklyn Ogle added seven points and seven rebounds.
East Palestine is 1-4 and 0-2 in the Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference and will be at Columbiana today.
