Columbiana 3, JFK 0

COLUMBIANA — Columbiana’s volleyball team made quick work of Warren JFK with a 25-9, 25-6, 25-10 win on Monday.

Columbiana is 6-3.

Tori Long had eight kills, nine aces and 16 points. Liv Cmil had four aces, 13 digs and 17 points. Tomi Ross added three kills, 14 assists, two aces, four digs and nine points. Julia Rapp had seven kills, three aces, two digs and seven points. Camille Zentner had five kills.

Columbiana won the jayvee match 25-17, 25-19. Danica Halas had three kills, five aces and eight points. Maryn Hepler had three kills, four assists, three aces and eight points.

Heartland 3, Malvern 0

COLUMBIANA — Heartland’s volleyball team spiked Malvern 26-24, 25-19, 25-22 on Monday.

Heartland is 4-4.

Emma Hall had 14 kills, eight points, four aces and 21 digs for the winners. Lauren Miasek had 10 kills, 11 points, four aces and six digs. Bella Drokin had 26 assists, eight points and three aces.

Heartland won the jayvee portion, 2-15, 18-25, 25-21. Zoe Matthews had 11 points, seven aces, seven kills and 10 assists. Mary Baker added nine points, five aces, eight kills, 10 assists and seven digs. Autumn Farrell had eight points and three aces. Julia Denny had 18 digs.

South Range 3, United 0

HANOVERTON — South Range defeated United 25-22, 25-17, 25-19 on Monday.

Tori Tschappatt led the Eagles with eight points and two aces.

United hosts Wellsville today.

Salem 3, Mooney 0

YOUNGSTOWN — Salem completed a sweep of Cardinal Mooney on Monday, 25-18, 28-26, 25-17.

Rylie Troy had 21 digs, 10 kills, and three aces for the Quakers. Teammate Zoie Reid posted nine kills, three aces, and three blocks.

Also for Salem, Emma Hochadel had 10 assists and five kills; Elena Colarossi had 10 assists and three aces; Jenna McClish added 16 digs.

Salem will visit Carrollton on Thursday.

Steubenville Central 3, Southern 0

STEUBENVILLE — Southern Local put up a fight before falling to Steubenville Catholic Central, 26-24, 25-19, 26-24, Monday.

The Crusaders improve to 6-3, while the Indians drop to 5-1.

Kya McCulley topped the Indians with 11 points and 16 assists. Rylee Mellott had six points, 14 assists and five kills; Ronni Mayfield four points, 10 assists and one kill; Adriana Gilliam six points, seven digs and two kills; and Elizabeth Mostella two kills and two blocks.

Southern did not have enough players for a junior varsity match due to contact tracing.

The Indians expect to be back at full strength tonight at East Palestine.

Wellsville 3, Toronto 0

WELLSVILLE — Wellsville swept Toronto 25-18, 25-10, 25-17 on Monday.

The Tigers were led by freshman Presley Stokes with 23 kills and five aces. Junior Alana Amato had 10 kills, three aces and a block.

Senior setter Emily McNicol has 14 assists, three kills and five aces. Junior Aubrianna Ramsey had 10 digs and three aces.

Senior Paige Green had 13 assist and an ace.

The Tigers are 6-0 and are at United today.

Crestview freshman

COLUMBIANA — Crestview’s freshman volleyball team beat Ursuline 25-12, 25-11 on Monday.

Abby Boyarko had 18 points, four aces, three kills and three digs for the winners. Kailey Baker added six kills.



BELOIT — West Branch downed East Liverpool 4-1 on Monday.

West Branch is 6-2 and 5-0 in the NET.
