Rebels fall to Brookfield

BROOKFIELD– Donovan Pawlowki’s 15-yard touchdown run with 7:27 left in the fourth quarter gave Brookfield a 20-13 win over Crestview on Friday in Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference Gray Division play.

Crestview fell to 3-3 and 2-1 in the league. Brookfield is 4-1 and 2-0. The Warriors had a game against Liberty canceled due to COVID in week four.

Crestview hosts LaBrae next Friday, while Brookfield hosts Newton Falls.

Roclen Bettura led the Rebels with 16 carries for 83 yards on the ground.

Kirkland Miller and Zander Witherow each scored touchdowns off passes from Anthony Cusick who totaled 140 yards through the air.
