HANOVERTON — Maci Linhart had a double and home run with two RBIs as Columbiana beat United 7-0 on Thursday.

Julia Rapp had a two hits and an RBI. Ava Davanzo and Madeline Hitchcock had two hits and an RBI each.

Tori Long had 11 strikeouts for the Clippers.

Columbiana is 13-3 and 9-1 in the EOAC.

Columbiana hosts Wellsville today.

COLUMBIANA — Four hits was all it took for Crestview to dump Newton Falls 1-0 on Thursday.

McKenna Schultz, Shianna Mathes, Kaedyn Sutton and Alexis Smith had hits for the Rebels.

Schultz’s hit was a double.

Crestview improves to 13-7 and is at Lowellville on Monday.

Rylie Troy led the Quakers with a singled and scored the only run on an RBI single by Dorothy Moore in the fourth inning. Chase Toy and Hannah Kelm had two hits each. Lauryn Barton singled and freshmen Avery Carr had a pinch-hit single to lead off the seventh inning.

Salem (5-16) will host Canton South on Monday.
