Wellsville evens mark

WELLSVILLE –Wellsville evened its record on the season with a 25-7 win over Valley Christian on Friday in Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference play.

The Tigers are 4-4 and travel to Edison next Friday for another regular season game.

Valley, who went up 7-0 out of the gates, fell to 2-6.

Troy Carter passed for 152 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers.

Valen Krzyston had three catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. Garrett Krzyston had six catches for 67 yards and a touchdown.

Valen Krzyston also had an interception.

Isaiah Greathouse powered the rushing game with 87 yards on 19 carries.

Tyler Stanley and Cade Weekley had four tackles each on defense for the winners.
