Warriors, Raiders are 4-0

CARROLLTON–West Branch used a 24-point opening quarter on Friday night to move past Carrollton 37-20 and on to 4-0 on the season.

Alek Wilson opened up the scoring with a 49 yard receiving touchdown from quarterback Dru DeShields.

After a field goal that made it 10-0, Nick Wilson jumped in front of a Luke Warner pass and took it 40 yards to the endzone to make it 17-0 West Branch.

DeShields ended with 188 yards passing and three touchdowns.

JEFFERSON — South Range senior quarterback Michael Patrone is back and better than ever.

Patrone, who sat out last week due to injury, threw five touchdown passes in the first half and had 370 yards of total offense in the Raiders’ 52-20 win over Jefferson on Friday.

The Raiders, ranked fourth in the Division V state poll, improves to 4-0. Jefferson falls to 0-4.

Patrone completed 12 of 14 passes for 230 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 140 yards on three carries.

Dylan Dominguez scored four touchdowns for the Raiders, who piled up 563 total yards.
