Beaver Local held a small ribbon-cutting ceremony before the boys and girls soccer games with East Liverpool on Friday to usher in the new artificial surface provided in part from a generous donation from Beaver Local High School graduates Derek Wolfe and Jamin Pastore. Due to current restrictions and guidelines associated with the pandemic, a formal field dedication will be done next year.
