SALEM–The Salem girls basketball team took down United 46-32 on Monday.

Kyla Jamison powered the Quakers with 13 points and nine rebounds. Freshman Abbie Davidson nailed three three-pointers on her way to 11 points. Taylor Troy added eight points.

Salem hosts Canfield on Wednesday.

Girard 37

GIRARD — Addison Bandy hit back-to-back three-pointers in the fourth quarter as Crestview rallied past Girard for a 39-37 win Monday.

The Rebels fell behind 13-5 in the first quarter and trailed until Bandy’s baskets in the final period.

Krista Perry had 15 points, 11 rebounds and three steals and Tanner Hoffer 11 points and 16 rebounds to guide the Rebels.

Crestview improves to 2-0, while Girard drops to 0-2.

Girard won the junior varsity game, 38-20. Madie Cope and McKenna Schultz each had six points for Crestview.

The Rebels will host Lisbon on Thursday for a varsity-only contest beginning at 6 p.m.

COLUMBIANA–Columbiana torched Lowellville 68-34 in girls basketball action Monday.

Point guard Kayla Muslovski led the way for the Clippers with 31 points and five steals. Grace Hammond added 12 points, eight steals and five assists. Grace Witmer had 14 points. Camille Zentner had eight points and six rebounds.

Columbiana won the JV game 28-16. Addison Zohnd led the Clippers with 10 points.

The Clippers are at Ursuline Thursday.

Izzy Perez led the Blue Devils (1-2) with 19 points and six steals. Maddie Liberati added 17 points and 12 rebounds. Tabby Ketchum had six rebounds and three steals.

Lisbon is at Crestview Thursday.

Madi Matthews had 23 points, eight rebounds, and four assists for the Lions, while Sydney Ogden had six points, 12 rebounds, five assists and five blocks. Brooklin McCoy had 13 points and six rebounds. Emma Whaley had 13 points for Sebring.
