"My fellow Americans." Just quoting one of our former presidents. It wasn't a earth-shattering opening but it seemed to draw your attention. A lot like the current situation in Iraq. I think I'm like most Americans in total disgust of our never ending willingness to become involved in winless, useless, armed conflicts abroad. I have to admit I would have lost a lifetime fortune betting that we would never involve our country's bravest, uncountable financial loss and a total disregard for the wants and wishes of the American people after the Vietnam conflict. How wrong I would have been. One can only wonder the travesties that will occur when our military and financial presence is no longer in Afghanistan. I think it's time for another famous quote "The buck stops here"
