EAST LIVERPOOL - Michele Marie Curran and Jeffery Lee Cornell were united in marriage on Dec. 21 at the East Liverpool First Church of Christ.
The bride is the daughter of Craig and Robin Curran, Lisbon.
The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Lisa Cornell, Lisbon

The Reverend Willard "Chuck" Adkins officiated the ceremony.
The bride wore a fit and flare satin gown, featuring a chapel length train and heavy ruching with a jeweled band accentuating the empire waist. She also wore a cathedral length veil, and carried a bouquet of white roses and blue orchids.
Melissa Curran, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor in a cobalt blue satin gown. In matching gowns were bridesmaids Natalie Curran, cousin of the bride; Victoria Cornell, sister of the groom; Kate Jeffries, Pittsburgh; Anastasia Spystya, Washington, D.C.; Christin Lucas, New Waterford; and Emily Kasecamp, Kent.
Performing the duties of best man was Jamison Hartley, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Trevor Campbell, Lisbon; Cody Owens, Bluffton, N.C.; Kyle Reeder, Rogers; Chuck Lucas, New Waterford; and Billy Lucas, Rogers.
A reception followed at the Salem Golf Club.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Beaver Local High School and holds a master's degree in history. She is currently working on her doctorate and is employed at Kent State University.
The groom is also a 2007 Beaver Local High School graduate and is employed as an union laborer with Stevens Construction Company.
After a honeymoon in Hocking Hills, the couple resides in Lisbon.
