EAST LIVERPOOL - Catherine Stroud Vodrey and Stephen William Huba were married on May 18 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, East Liverpool.
The bride is a daughter of Jackman and Jane Vodrey, Fredericktown.
The groom is the son of Paul and Ede Huba, Youngstown.

Pastor Mary Vidmar officiated the ceremony with music provided by organist William Richards. Readings were given by Silke Chambers, sister of the groom; and Sarah Vodrey, sister of the bride.
Escorted by her son, Henry Klein, the bride wore a V-neck bias-cut ecru silk tricotine gown topped with a scalloped ecru lace overlay. She wore a scattering of tiny ivory organza blossoms in her hair. She carried a bouquet of deep pink peonies and roses, wild violet-colored phlox, eucalyptus and stargazer lilies.
Lillian Klein, daughter of the bride, served as maid of honor in a deep violet-blue knee-length dress with a laser-cut floral design and scalloped skirt.
Jacob and Greg Huba served their father as groomsmen.
A reception immediately followed at the couple's Fredericktown home.
The bride is a 1981 graduate of Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh. She earned a bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a master's degree at Duquesne University. She serves as Dollars for Scholars vice-president in East Liverpool.
The groom is a 1982 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. He currently serves as the Hancock County reporter for The Review.
The couple will honeymoon in Bedford Springs, Pa. The bride will be keeping her maiden name.
