Wellsville 69, Western Reserve 43

BERLIN CENTER - Wellsville improved to 9-1 on the season with a 69-43 win over Western Reserve Tuesday.

Leading the Tigers was Nate Scott with 20 points. Seth Bradford added 19, and Jordan Sloan tallied 15.

For Western Reserve, Dalton Korda had a team-high 18 points. Nolan Snyder added six.

Western Reserve (3-7, 1-5 ITCL Tier 2) plays at Lowellville Friday.

Wellsville (9-1, 6-0 ITCL Tier 2) travels to McDonald in a battle of ITCL Tier 2 unbeatens.

Leetonia 74, Sebring 65

LEETONIA - Leetonia used a strong second half to pull away from Sebring 74-65 Tuesday.

Leading the Bears was Trent Ferry with 22 points. Brandon Dattilio added 17 points - 11 of which came in the fourth quarter, and Ian Sevenich had 10.

Cody Valentine added seven points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals.

For Sebring, Dylan Mick had a game-high 24 points. Josh Hurford added 17 points and Joe Davis had 11.

The Sebring reserve team won 38-29. Andrew Weingart paced the Trojans with 11 points. Drew Turney had 11 for the Bears.

Sebring (4-5, 2-4 ITCL Tier 2) plays Friday at Southern.

Leetonia (5-6, 2-4 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Columbiana.

HANOVERTON - The United Local Golden Eagles captured their first win of the season 56-62 over Jackson-Milton Tuesday.

Leading United was Caleb Conser with 17 points. Brandon Miller added 15 points and Jared Powell pulled down 11 rebounds.

Brandon Mitchell led the Bluejays with 14 points.

The United reserve team also won 41-33. Jake Wolni led the Eagles with 11 points.

United (1-9, 1-5 ITCL Tier 1) plays at Mineral Ridge Friday.

Jackson-Milton (1-9, 0-6 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Springfield.

Springfield 47, Lisbon 42

LISBON - Springfield stayed unbeaten in Tier 1 of the Inter-Tri County League with a 47-42 win over Lisbon Tuesday.

Leading the Tigers was Eoghan Bees with 17 points. Jared McTigue added 10.

For Lisbon, Austin Rutecki had 12 points. Josh Craig added 10 points and 12 rebounds, and Josh Liberati had seven points and six assists.

Springfield won the JV game 71-33. Jared Merriman and Mike Evans led Lisbon in scoring with eight points apiece while Jared Musial paced Springfield with 25.

With the win Springfield improved to 7-2 overall, 6-0 in conference. The Tigers play Friday at Jackson-Milton.

Lisbon (5-5, 3-3) next plays Crestview on Friday.

COLUMBIANA - McDonald topped Columbiana 72-40 Tuesday. The Blue Devils ran out to a 46-12 lead at half and coasted to the win to improve to 9-1, 5-0 in conference.

Matt Seitz paced McDonald with 25 points.

For Columbiana, Bryce Franken had 14 points, and Jake DeJong added 12.

Columbiana (0-10, 0-6 ITCL Tier 2) plays Friday at Leetonia.

Mineral Ridge 70, East Palestine 66 OT

MINERAL RIDGE - Mineral Ridge fended off career performances by both Austen Reiser and Nate Keylor of East Palestine to win 70-66 in overtime Tuesday.

Reiser finished with 33 points and 18 rebounds, and Keylor added 18 points and 10 assists.

Nate Palmer paced Ridge (7-4, 5-1 ITCL Tier 1) with 25 points.

Ridge won the reserve game 41-26. Leading East Palestine was Phil Fusetti with seven points.

East Palestine (4-4, 4-2 ITCL Tier 1) plays Friday at South Range.

LOUISVILLE - West Branch picked up its second NBC win of the season 48-40 at Louisville Tuesday.

Leading the Warriors was Drake Lohnes with 12 points. Kip DeShields added 11 points and 11 rebounds. Jacon Griffith also had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

West Branch won the reserve contest 55-51.

West Branch (4-6, 2-4 NBC) hosts Marlington Friday.
