Despite dropping only two games on the day, Oak Glen coach Ethel Riser said she wants her team to play more consistent.

"We were doing fine and then all of a sudden we stopped passing, serving, hitting," she said. "Nothing went right for us for a while. Then, we turn around and kill them the next game.

"We've got to quit losing focus and be really consistent all the way through. We can't afford those kind of lapses. We've got to be consistently good."

Against James Monroe, Oak Glen came away with a 25-15, 25-8, 16-25, 25-12 victory.

In their second match of the day, the Bears beat Frankfort by scores of 25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 25-15.
