LISBON - Democratic and Republican candidates spent quite a bit of money over the past several months, according to pre-election campaign finance reports filed with the Columbiana County Board of Elections.
The filing deadline was Thursday and covered candidate contributions and spending that occurred between April 13, the date of the last campaign finance reporting deadline, and Oct. 17.
Candidates for state office file their reports with the Ohio Secretary of State, and not surprisingly, the race for state representative is where the most money has been spent to date.
