WELLSVILLE - The Tigers brought home the title.
The Wellsville volleyball team earned a 25-3, 25-9, 25-5, victory Tuesday night over visiting Leetonia to wrap up the ITCL Lower Tier title.
With the win, the Tigers are now 18-3 on the season overall, and they are 11-0 in the league.

"It's nice," veteran Wellsville head coach said about winning the league title. "It's three in a row. It's the first time we have won out right. We have shared it before, so that is nice.
"It just shows how hard the kids have worked and the effort they have put forth. The would like to finish the league undefeated, and we will look to do that on Thursday.
"We will keep going forward from there into the state tournament which starts next week."
For Wellsville, Shayna Hamilton tallied 27 assists, Maleya Fultz finished with four aces and three kills and Sarah Skinner recorded eight aces and 13 kills.
Also, McKenna Pierson ended up with two aces, five kills and two assists, Jayla Martin netted eight kills and Mystic Beatty collected four aces.
There was no JV match.
Wellsville plays Thursday at Lowellville.
Oak Glen d. Wheeling Park, 25-13, 25-6, 25-9
NEW MANCHESTER - The Golden Bears took down the Patriots.
The Oak Glen volleyball team improved to 26-3 on the season with a 25-13, 25-6, 25-19 victory Tuesday night at home over Wheeling Park on Senior Night.
For the Golden Bears, Sydney Kell tallied 14 points, 49 sets, 20 assists, three spikes, one kill and three digs, Lacee Porter recorded seven points, two aces, 13 spikes, eight kills and three digs and Morgan Poling produced 10 points, 12 spikes, seven kills, seven blocks and two digs.
Also, Abby Tice collected 16 points, five aces, six spikes and eight digs, Vanessa Hissam added 14 spikes, seven kills and one dig and Jessica Stivason netted 14 spikes, five kills and three blocks.
Next, Jessica Hutton ended up with seven spikes, Kaitlyn Smith contributed one point and five digs and Carissa Williams scored four points to go along with 74 sets and 34 assists.
Finally, Madison Juszczak delivered four spikes and three kills, and Logan Andrews finished with one spike.
Oak Glen won the JV match, 25-12, 25-21.
Brianna Evans and Emmy Delekta each tallied eight points.
Beaver Local d. Struthers, 25-13, 21-25, 25-12, 25-20
CALCUTTA - The Beavers tamed the Wildcats.
The Beaver Local volleyball team won the final two games of the match to defeat Struthers, 25-13, 21-25, 25-12, 25-20, Tuesday night at the Beaver Dome.
The Beavers are now 11-8 on the season.
For Beaver Local, Sierra Wright recorded five aces, 23 points, 14 digs, 12 sets, six assists, five spikes, three kills and four blocks, Nevada Dobbs delivered two aces, 10 points, three digs, 10 spikes, 23 kills and seven blocks and Ali Buchheit tallied four aces, seven points, eight digs, 41 sets, 19 assists, nine spikes, three kills and four blocks.
Also, Mackenzie Davis scored six points to go along with one ace, 11 digs, 14 sets and 10 assists, Danna Talbott collected two points, 15 digs, nine spikes, nine kills and three blocks and Sierra Jones netted one dig, two spikes, two kills and two blocks.
Finally, Miranda Turkovich chipped in with three digs, six spikes and two kills, Laini Roberts added five aces, 23 points and 14 digs and Tannar Dolhun ended up with four spikes, three kills and six blocks.
Beaver Local won the JV match, 25-8, 25-14.
For the Beavers (15-4), Ashton Roberts ended up with eight points and two kills and Sam Kendall and Courtney Messenger both recorded six points.
Beaver Local plays today at home against Austintown Fitch on Senior Night.
South Range d. East Palestine, 25-16, 25-17, 22-25, 25-10
EAST PALESTINE - The Raiders caged the Bulldogs.
The South Range volleyball team won the first two games of the match en route to a 25-16, 25-17, 22-25, 25-10 victory Tuesday night at East Palestine.
For the Raiders (13-7, 8-50, Lynnie Ritter recorded 12 kills and five blocks, Jordan Youngs delivered 23 digs, two aces and nine points and Ashley Shetter tallied 12 kills, 18 digs 12 points and two aces.
For the Bulldogs (6-13, 2-11), Carley Sansenbaugher recorded 12 kills, 18 blocks and 13 digs, Megan Brown ended up with 22 assists and four points and Logan Gatchel tallied 10 points and four kills.
South Range won the JV match, 25-15, 25-11.
Potters sweep Panthers
EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams earned a sweep Tuesday night over visiting Buckeye Local.
The Potters won the 7th grade match, 25-10, 25-15.
For East Liverpool (8-7), Kiandria Cowart contributed 12 points, and Aerienn Brown netted nine points.
East Liverpool won the 8th grade match, 25-15, 25-9.
For the Potters (11-4), Emily Green netted 12 points, and Lauren Cunningham and Gabbi Rinehardt each tallied four points.
East Liverpool plays today at Harrison Central. It is the final match of the regular season for the Potters.
Beavers sweep Colts
CALCUTTA - The Beaver Local 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams swept Wellsburg Tuesday night at home.
The Beavers won the 7th grade match, 25-5, 25-17.
Sydney Voorhees scored seven points to lead the way for Beaver Local.
The Beavers won the 8th grade match, 25-20, 19-25, 25-3.
Bailee Rinestine ended up with 18 points, and Dakota Heaton netted 10 points for Beaver Local.
