HANOVERTON - Jill Anna Zehentbauer and Cory Thomas Stroup were united in marriage on July 7, at St. Bernard-St. Mary Catholic Church in Akron.
The bride is the daughter of Neil and Lou Ann Zehentbauer, Hanoverton.
The groom is the son of Thomas and Karen Stroup, Shelby.

Father Dan Reed officiated the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory strapless drop waist ruffle skirt ball gown with crystal beaded embroidery and a modified sweetheart neckline. She wore a shoulder length veil and carried a bouquet of bright pink roses.
Katie Brown, cousin of the bride, Salineville, served as maid of honor in a bright pink and black gown. In matching gowns were bridesmaids, Leah Garwood, Leetonia; and Mary Jo Brown, Salineville; cousins of the bride; Alaina Zehentbauer, sister-in-law of the bride, Hanoverton; and Jamie Pace, Tallmadge. Flower girl was Ava Mazurek, niece of the groom.
Performing the duties of best man was Ryan Lykins, Shelby. Groomsmen were David Loomis, Kingsville; Zachary Stallard, Lucas; Justin Laubach, Dalton; and Spencer Hershey, Canton. Ringbearer was Triston Carr, nephew of the groom.
A reception for approximately 250 guests followed at Guy's Party Centre, Akron.
The bride is a 2008 United Local graduate and a 2012 University of Akron where she earned a degree in radiologic technology. She is employed as an office manager at Med Works Urgent Care, Green.
The groom graduated from Shelby High in 2007 and from the University of Akron in 2011 with a degree in business finance. He is currently employed as a financial representative at Northwestern Mutual, Canton.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Canton.
