Alex Eisenhart and Mercedes May tallied goals for the Beavers. Eisenhart's goal was unassisted. Hayley Tomlinson assisted on May's goal.
Maranda Kiddey made 16 saves in goal for Beaver Local.
The game was Beaver Local's annual "Kicks for a Cure" Game.
"We have had several people that we know affected by cancer," Beaver Local head coach Liz Connor said. "The money raised tonight through a basket raffle and a baked good sale is going to be donated to help fund research."
The Falcons applied pressure on Kiddey and the Beavers' defense throughout the first half of the game. Fitch finished the half with four goal, and the Falcons led 4-0 at halftime.
"Overall, in the first half we had several injuries that occurred," Connor said. "In the second half, we were able to get those players playing again. We picked up the tempo, and we outscored them in the second half, 2-1."
The game was also the Beavers' final regular season game as members of the All-American Conference.
"Yeah, we are going to be independent next year," Connor said. "Hopefully, we will be able to keep playing some of the schools we have been able to compete with. The teams in the Youngstown area provide good competition, and they prepare us well for sectional play."
Beaver Local's next game will be in Ohio Division II Eastern District Sectional play. The sectional tournament will be held Monday through Oct. 20 down at Red Devil Stadium in St. Clairsville. The sectional draw is scheduled for Sunday.
"First of all, I'm going to let the girls rest and recoup just little bit this weekend," Connor said about her team's plans heading into the sectional tournament. "Then next week, we are going to be hitting practice hard and possibly watching more film."
