Robin L. Hughes

NEGLEY — Robin L. Hughes, 61, passed away Dec. 7, 2025, with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer

She was born March 27, 1964, in Beaver, Pa., daughter of Thornton “Hez” III and Margaret Boyles Harn.

Robin was a lifelong resident of Negley and a graduate of Beaver Local High School. She worked for over 20 years at the Holander House in Salem as an STNA, and most recently at Covington Skilled Nursing in East Palestine. She was a member of the East Palestine Moose Lodge and the New Waterford Eagles. She enjoyed camping but was happiest spending time with her granddaughters.

Robin is survived by her daughter, Ashley (John Foster) Hughes of East Palestine; three granddaughters, Ila, Ember and Avery; her mother, Margaret Harn; two brothers, Gregory (Angela) Harn, Craig (Terri) Harn; three sisters, Peggy Haggerty, Brenda (Jeffrey) Moore and Patsy (Bradley) Weaver; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles E. Hughes III; her father, Thornton “Hez” Harn III; and a brother-in-law, Douglas Haggerty.

A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Doug Barber officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 11 a.m. until service time.
