Thiery Kay Morrison

Thiery Kay (Golladay)Morrison passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning.

Born on July 11, 1940, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Robert and Thiery (Lodge)Golladay. Kay grew up in Cambridge. Kay dedicated her life to caring for others. She began her nursing career in 1984 and continued serving with compassion until her retirement in 2018 at age 78.

She was the beloved mother of Jeff (Carolyn) Morrison, Eric Morrison, and Kristin (Pete) West. She was preceded in death by her cherished sons Scott and Tim. Kay’s love extended deeply to her grandchildren–Stephanie Gray (Fred Alfarano), Rochelle Chestnut (Mike), Alyssa (Cody Cluck), Dean (Rachel Wilson), Harper, and Zoe Morrison, Emily and Sarah Gawlik–and her great-grandchildren Ian Chestnut, Noah Gray, and Scotty Morrison-Cluck, who brought her endless joy.

Kay is also survived by her dear siblings Mary Ann Larson and Ruth Golladay and was preceded in death by her brother Jim Golladay (Gloria). She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, including Tami Kennedy, Shannon Evans, Lisa Pritchard, and her cousin Nancy Ann Baerwaldt.

The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Weber Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery. Calling hours will be observed from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to the service Friday.
