Nelson Courtney Jr.

LEETONIA — Nelson Courtney Jr., 74, of Leetonia, Ohio, passed away April 20, 2023.

Born August 29, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Nelson and Mary Jane (Boesken) Courtney Sr.

Nelson was a former Construction Worker for Century Plastics. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge; Nelson enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Surviving are his loving wife, Tammy Courtney of Leetonia; a daughter, Thomasanna (David) Wynn of Leetonia; a son Mark Courtney of Ohio; 15 grandchildren; a sister, Donna (Roger) Stewart of New Manchester; two step-sons, David (Stef) Carbasho of Wellsburg; and Gene (Chrissy) Carbasho of Weirton.

Private arrangements were handled by the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV.
