Crisona Joyce LaClair

WELLSVILLE — Crisona Joyce LaClair, 83, of Wellsville, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born May 7, 1938, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Mary Anne (Merriman) and Delbert Otis Williams, Sr. In addition to her parents, Crisona was preceded in death on May 11, 1999, by her husband, Gordon Eugene LaClair, whom she married January 30, 1956. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Delbert Otis Williams, Jr. and Howard Keith Williams.

Crisona had been employed as an aide at the Convalescent Center and then for thirty-four years as a ward clerk at East Liverpool City Hospital. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Elks.

Survivors include her daughter, Starr Roe and her husband, Jeff, of Wellsville; and three siblings: Becky Coleman of Lisbon, Ralph Williams of Salem, and Sharlene Sayre of Burlington, Wis. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Morgan Roe, Jeffrey Roe, and Trisha Roe; and five great-grandchildren: Kira, Gavin, Tyler, Darnell, and Carter.

The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville, with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Living Well Church officiating. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
