Kenneth ‘Wieners’ Gearin

Salineville — Kenneth “Wieners” Gearin Jr., 65, died early Thursday morning at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.

Kenny was born March 29, 1955 in East Liverpool, OH a son of the late Kenneth and Betty Rush Gearin Sr.

He lived all his life in the Salineville area, graduated from Salineville High School and worked for Asplundh Tree Service for many years in many different positions. He attended Riley’s Church and was a member of the Salineville Masonic Lodge 348. He was also a member of the Salineville American Legion John Adams Post 442. Wieners enjoyed fly fishing, camping, bowling and whitewater rafting. He loved to be outdoors. He will always be remembered for his contagious sense of humor and kindness.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Sari Gearin at home; two sisters, Sandra (Charles) Pelley of Salem, OH, Chelsea Boyle of New Mexico; one son, Jason Gearin of Virginia Beach; one grandson, Nicholas Gearin of Wellsville; special niece, Heather Willis of Wilmington NC; and two special great nieces, Abby Willis of Salineville, OH and Emily Willis of Wilmington NC.

Besides his parents, Wieners was preceded in death by one sister, Terri Gearin.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic a celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at a later date.

The Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville, OH is in charge of the arrangements.
