Thelma ‘Mickey’ Liebhart

BELOIT — Thelma “Mickey” M. Liebhart 96 of Beloit, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020 at Copeland Oaks in Sebring.

Born in Beloit on Jan. 17, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha (Waffler) Fryfogle.

A graduate of Alliance High School, she worked for 10 years at Alliance Manufacturing and 22 years at Knox Elementary School in the cafeteria. She was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Liebhart; two sons, Douglas (Judy) of Beloit and David of Sebring; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Goldie Summer.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Liebhart, three sisters, Erma Bauman, Lela Snyder and Velma Fryfogle; a brother, John K., and four half-brothers; Herman, Lloyd, Clarence and Harold Oswalt.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring with the Rev. Allen Kahler officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
