Kandi Lee (Black) Bowersock, age 44, of East Rochester, Ohio, passed away at U.H. Seidman Cancer Center on Saturday, Feb. 22 2020. She was born on August 25, 1975 in East Liverpool, Ohio, to Frank Lee and Pamela Rae (Crews) Black.
She worked for Carnation Financial Service as assistant manager. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1993.
Kandi is survived by her fiance, Joshua M. Moreland-Whitmer; her mother, Pam Webb of Wellsville, Ohio; her father, Frank Black of Weirton W.Va. Kandi also leaves a daughter, Keisha (Dyllan) Shirley of Malvern, Ohio; one son, Randy Bowersock III and his finance Elaina Chaffey of Robertsville, Ohio; two step-children: Tia (James Moreland-Whitmer) Pardell of Kensington, Ohio, and Courtney Bowersock of Salem, Ohio. Kandi was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren, Mya Doughty, Bow Doughty, Harlyn Shirley and Kaeson Moreland. She is also survived by three sisters: Alisa Webb, Tori Webb, both of Wellsville, Ohio and Jennifer Black of Weirton, W.V. A brother, Jason Heffner of Wellsville, Ohio and a step-sister: Kristin Campbell-Severs.
Preceding in death was her stepfather, Jerry Webb.
A memorial service will be held Thursday Feb. 27, 2020 at the Maple-Cotton Funeral Home in Kensington. Friends and family may call from 3-7 P.M. The service will be at 4:00 P.M.
