Robert ‘Bob’ Freeman
WELLSVILLE — Robert J. “Bob” Freeman, 69, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 11, 1950, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Robert and Betty J. (Cornell) Freeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Galvin.
Mr. Freeman served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1967-1970 and then again from 1972-1974 during the Vietnam War. He was employed for the village of Wellsville. He worked on the street department and was the Spring Hill Cemetery superintendent before retiring.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Freeman; one daughter, Jodie Freeman-Straight of Boardman; and one step-daughter, Linda Little-Herrick of Toronto and three grandchildren.
The Tri-State Burial Group will accord full military honors at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Roberts Funeral Home.
