James ‘Leo’ Jobe

WELLSVILLE — James L. “Leo” Jobe, 83 of Wellsville, passed away at his home on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1935 in Ashland, Ky., a son of the late Labern Leo Jobe and Hazel M. Boggs Jobe. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Frances Imogene “Jean” Malone.

He was retired from Chem Lab at Crucible Steel. He was a member of the East Liverpool First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lynn Weston Jobe, children: Crystal McCormick of Wellsville, Chicki Saracco of East Liverpool, and Cassie Manahan of Wellsville., Siblings: Billy Jobe of East Liverpool, Charles Malone of California, Pam Mosley of Virginia Beach, Fannie Smith of California, and Margaret Osburne of Wellsville, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by siblings: Jack Jobe, Tommy Malone, and Doris Kothmann.

Pastor Steve Knisely will conduct services 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14 at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, W. Va. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, when they will be present from 2-4 and 6-7:30 p.m.
