Jeffrey Hendricks

SALEM — Jeffrey Lee Hendricks, 54, of Salem, Ohio passed away August 29, 2018 in his home after his long struggle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Hendricks was born June 16, 1964, in Salem, Ohio, the son of Jerry and Kathy (Stamp) Hendricks, and has lived in the Salem and Greenford area all his life.

Jeff graduated from South Range Local Schools and Youngstown State University. Jeff worked and was a partner for Heritage Union Title for 26 years. He also worked at Huntington Bank in Salem as a loan officer.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and would be often times found fishing, hunting, or golfing, and most recently made a hole-in-one this summer at Buck Run Golf Course where he played in the Monday Night League for over twenty-five years. He was also a member of the Buckeye Big Buck Club and recognized for his monster racks from several hunts and he took several fishing trips a year to Canada to fish for walleye. He attended the Greenford Lutheran Church and the Greenford Christian Church. He was involved in the Salem Rotary Club and volunteered to work their pancake breakfast, RYLA event, and yearly flag fundraiser and was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph and Bertha Hendricks and Robert and Mary Jane Stamp.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years of marriage, the former Dayna Becki; his adoring sons Mitch and Bryce Hendricks of Salem, his admiring parents Jerry and Kathy (Stamp) Hendricks, his sister Kim (Mark) Evans, in-laws, Jack and Theresa Becki, Jacki (Scot) Loveland, Ralph (Katie) Becki; and two nieces, Chloe Loveland and Grace Becki.

Friends may call from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Stark Memorial Funeral Home, Salem. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Greenford Christian Church to celebrate the life of Jeff Hendricks with Bruce Rhodes Jr. officiating.
