–A verbal warning was issued to a driver for speed following an Oct. 29 traffic stop on Y&O Road.
–Sarah Larson was issued a citation for speed of 58 mph in 45-mph zone following an Oct. 29 traffic stop on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.

–Officers spoke with a male reported for causing a disturbance on Oct. 29 at Walmart. The officers found the male next to his truck yelling and causing a scene. The male told officers he was upset because he lost the keys to the truck inside the store. He also said employees found his debit card and returned it to him. He said the debit card was located near the sporting goods section of the store, but he had not been near that section. His brother brought a spare key for the truck. Officer spoke to the store manager who told them there was nobody there that could operate the camera system. They went inside with the store manager and searched the areas of the store the male said he was in. Officers advised him to call the store in the morning to see if any nighttime employees found his keys.
–Judy Clutter was issued a citation for speed of 64 mph in 45-mph zone following an Oct. 29 traffic stop on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.
East Liverpool
–Officers spoke with a caller at a Monroe Street residence who requested officers remove a male from the property on Oct. 29 and was told the male had left prior to the officers’ arrival. –Officers advised a female on Ot. 29 that she needed to contact the Wellsville Police Department to make a report of sexual assault incident she told officers happened in Wellsville. Officers asked the female if she needed any medical attention. She did not want any. The officers noted that advised the female that she needed to go to the hospital for further assistance as soon as possible due to possible time limitations.
–A female requested police check her father’s May Street residence due to her concern about his safety because someone not wanted at her his house was there on Oct. 29. Officers checked his residence was told by the father that the male had left or was wandering around someplace. He was advised by officers to lock his door and call him if the male returned. As they were leaving the male came walking up the sidewalk and officers informed him, he was not wanted there and needed to go somewhere else. The male cooperated.
–After receiving a complaint on Oct. 29 that Joseph Mason was leaning on a pole appearing to be under the influence of something outside Nikki’s Market, Dresden Avenue, officers went to check on him. As officers were leaving the station, dispatch told them there was an active warrant for Mason out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office. When officers made contact with Mason who appeared physically fine, Mason, according to the police report, said “you ready” and that he knew he had a warrant and had been waiting on officers all day to come pick him up. Mason was placed in custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
–Officers were told by a female at a Crawford Avenue residence on Oct. 29 that she called them while she and her boyfriend were in a verbal altercation, and that while she was on the phone with them, he left the area. The female said that nothing physical had happened and officers were unable to see any signs of a physical altercation.
–A male came to the police station on Oct. 29 to file a report against G.G. who he said posted an old Facebook photo of his car and a rifle he used to own and said the male had been following him/her around town with the gun. The male told officers he got the rifle for his birthday and has since sold it and could text who it was sold to prove he no longer owned it. The male said he just wanted the incident documented since G.G. keeps slandering him on social media.
Perry Township
–Officers responded to Egypt Road at 9:15 p.m. Saturday to assist the Goshen Township Police Department with a crash. Officers assisted until they were no longer needed.
–Officers responded to the area of Depot Road at 5:12 p.m. Saturday for a reported parking complaint. The caller advised that a semi-truck was parked blocking and the roadway. Officers checked the area, but the roadway was clear.
–Officers responded to the area of state Route 45 at 5:08 p.m. Saturday for a report of a vehicle traveling northbound toward the township and failing to maintain lanes. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
–Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 11:02 a.m. Saturday for a report of a tractor stolen from the Church at the Center. Officers spoke with the staff. An investigation is pending.
–Officers responded to the 800 block of Georgetown Road at 11 a.m. Saturday for a 911-hang-up-call. Officers checked the area and spoke with the resident who advised they were the only one on the property and did not recognize the phone number. Everything checked OK.
–Officers spoke to a person by phone at 8:20 a.m. Nov 6 for a report of theft. The caller advised that an unknown person had stolen one of their Blue Republic garbage containers. The caller’s security camera recorded the person walking away with the container.
–Officers spoke with a person by phone at 8:15 a.m. Nov. 6 for a report of fraud. The caller advised that they replied to an ad on apartments.com and had paid an $80 fee through Zelle for an application fee and spoke to a man who advised that they worked for a realty company and to meet at the residence that day but did not show up. The caller found that the property had a local realty sign in the yard and that the company advised the house was for sale not rent, and that the caller should make a report for fraud.
–Officers responded to the 1100 block of Prospect Street at 7:58 p.m. Nov. 5 for a reported wellness check. The caller advised that they were worried about their daughter and wanted them to be checked on. Officers spoke with the daughter who advised that they were going through a tough time but would be OK and did not need anything.
–Officers responded to the 1500 block of Manor Drive at 7:03 p.m. Nov. 5 for a report of a tree and lines down in the roadway. Ohio Edison was contacted and responded. Officers stood by until they were no longer needed.
