Leetonia

— An officer stood by at 5:03 p.m. July 4 in the 41000 block of Lodge Road with a juvenile female who had wrecked and rolled a four-wheeler until the private ambulance company responded.

— A fireworks complaint was reported at 9:51 p.m. July 2 in the 100 block of Main Street. Upon arrival, the officer detected nothing nor did others she contacted.

— Steve’s Towing reported at 11:25 a.m. June 29 that an Amazon truck came on his posted private property and ran over a plastic drum containing water.

Highway Patrol

— Francis Baird, of Hoffee Road in Lisbon, was cited at 3:09 p.m. June 25 in Butler Township for failure to yield the right of way when turning left. Baird was struck by Ron Campbell, of Spiedel Road in Lisbon.

— Two vehicles were involved in crashes on the afternoon of June 27. Jesse Jackson, of Cleveland Street in Salem, had been southbound on state Route 45 and went off the right side of the road into the ditch. After exiting his vehicle, it was then struck by Thomas Butch, of Conkle Road in Salem, who did the identical thing. Neither driver was cited to the poor wet road conditions, which caused them to hydroplane.

— No citations were issued to either driver after troopers responded at 3:32 p.m. June 25 to Knox Township. Dennis Wolfe, of Port Saint Lucie, Fla. was westbound on Georgetown Road and Deri Bayley, of Akron, was eastbound when they sideswiped their vehicles while driving past each other.

East Palestine

— Officers responded at 1:50 p.m. on Monday to Well Adjusted by Dr. Jess on North Market Street, regarding a request to have an individual removed from the premises. The man had left prior to officers arriving.

— Officers took a report at 10:24 p.m. on Sunday from a resident on East Adams Street who reported that a firework had struck his house.

— Officers took a report at 9:22 p.m. on Monday about an ongoing issue.

— Officers observed a car in the park after hours and advised its occupants to leave the park at 10:34 p.m. on Saturday.

— Officers spoke to a resident on South Lincoln Avenue at 10 p.m. on Saturday regarding a possible missing person.

— Officers observed a vehicle Saturday at 12:57 a.m. near the high school band room and lights on inside the building before making contact with a school employee who was inside working.

— Officers assisted the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Department on a mutual aid call at 8:03 p.m. on Friday at a residence on state Route 165 for possible domestic violence. Joseph Aletnburg, no age or address provided, was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing and vandalism to a patrol car.

— Officers responded at 5:51 p.m. to Main Street on Thursday to a call of a roommate who passed out at a residence due to intoxication. The male refused EMS or transport to a local hospital.

— Officers responded at 12 p.m. on Thursday to South Street to a report of an unconscious male. Chad Williams, no age or address, was cited for disorderly conduct and released to the custody of his brother.

— Officers responded at 12 a.m. on Wednesday to French Street to a complaint of juveniles setting off fireworks. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

— Officers responded at 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday to Padgett Road near West Main Street for a disabled vehicle. An officer stayed with the occupants until a relative brought fuel.

— Officers responded at 9:32 p.m. on Wednesday to East Clark Street to a report of two people arguing in an alley. Officers were unable to loathe the subjects.

— Officers took a report from a woman at 7:47 p.m. on Wednesday who advised she was receiving harassing text messages from a person known to her.

— Officers responded at 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday to West Clark Street regarding an issue between a father and son. After speaking to both parties, officers advised the son to spend the night at a friend’s house.

— Officers responded at 3:31 to Alice Street on Wednesday regarding a civil dispute between a poetry owner and a contract. After speaking to both pastries, officers advised the matter would need to be steeled in civil court.

— Officers responded at 7:36 p.m. to Liberty Street on July 1 for a welfare check for Salem Regional Medical Center. Officers found the individual no longer lived at the address.
